Is a Kuwait visa required for Latvian citizens?
In order to comply with Kuwait's legal requirements, visitors from Latvia must possess a visitor visa; it is a mandatory document and cannot be waived. However, residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which includes Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, are exempted from the visa requirement and can stay in Kuwait for a maximum of 90 days (3 months) without obtaining a visa.
Latvia is not included in the list of countries exempt from Kuwait visa-free. Therefore, Latvian citizens must apply for a Kuwait visa prior to their travel to Kuwait. However, Latvian nationals are eligible to apply for a Kuwait e-Visa, which grants them permission to visit Kuwait. To ensure a swift process, Kuwait Immigration Services offers assistance in obtaining an e-visa promptly for travelers.
