• It is a single-entry visa, allowing entry and exit from Kuwait on one occasion only.

• Kuwait eVisa holders are not permitted to engage in employment while in Kuwait.

Eligibility Requirements for Kuwait eVisa

To be eligible for a Kuwait eVisa, foreign nationals need to fulfill the following criteria:

1. Applicants must either be citizens of the countries listed below or hold residency in any of the GCC nations, namely Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, or the United Arab Emirates.
2. A valid mode of payment is required to process the online visa fee.
3. Passports must remain valid for a minimum of six (6) months upon arrival in Kuwait.

For GCC Residents:

1. GCC Residency should have at least six months' validity upon arrival in Kuwait.
2. If you're a dependent of a GCC Resident (such as a spouse, child, or domestic worker), you may be asked to provide a copy of the primary applicant's GCC Residency document. The primary applicant (Sponsor) must be present with dependents upon arrival in Kuwait

• Applicants will receive email notifications regarding their eVisa application status.
• Information submitted in the application must precisely match the details on the passport used for travel.
• Upon arrival, travelers must present their eVisa documentation at the border control checkpoint.
• It is advisable for travelers to keep a printed copy of their eVisa reference number with them throughout their stay.
• Once the validity of your eVisa expires, it becomes invalid and cannot be used to enter Kuwait.
• The eVisa permits a maximum stay of 90 days.
• Upon approval of the Kuwait eVisa, applicants will receive a confirmation email containing a reference number, which must be provided to authorities upon arrival in Kuwait.

Requirements to enter Kuwait

Eligible nationals must present basic documents and personal information when applying for a Kuwait visa online. This may include:

1. A passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months from the arrival date in Kuwait.
2. A copy of the current passport’s biographical information.
3. A passport-sized photograph of the applicant.
4. A valid credit or debit card for Kuwait e-Visa payment.

6. For GCC Residents, a scanned copy of the GCC residency document may also be necessary.
7. If your current passport number differs from the one on your GCC residence card, you may need to provide a scanned copy of the passport's biographical page that matches your GCC.

Applicants who claim to hold a GCC residence permit may also be asked to display the GCC residence document when arriving at the Immigration Authorities at the Kuwait entry point. It's important to note that there might be an additional visa fee of 3KD (approximately 10 USD) upon arrival at the border entry point.

Typically, the eVisa processing time is within 1 business day, excluding weekends (Friday and Saturday) and Kuwaiti holidays. However, in some cases, processing may extend to up to 4 business days once you've submitted a complete application.
